Meet Our Founder
Megan Green is a cultural innovator whose work bridges psychology, communication, and art. With a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Organizational Communication from Villanova University, and a master’s degree in Communication Management from the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School, Megan brings an academic lens and interdisciplinary focus to every project she leads.
Through Crownworkshop, Megan uses hair art and storytelling as powerful vehicles for dialogue around identity, confidence, mental health, and wellness. She has designed and facilitated transformative experiences for universities, corporations, and schools across the U.S. and internationally, from Los Angeles to Brooklyn, Ghana, and Cape Town.
Her work spans multiple industries. She has created cultural and service-oriented programming with nonprofits and educational institutions, styled hair for global brands, film productions, and video games, and contributed to celebrity events, awards, and red carpet moments.
With more than 15 years of experience in communication, facilitation, diversity and inclusion, and leadership training, alongside nearly a decade in aerospace, Megan combines rigorous academic insight with lived creativity. She has led diversity and inclusion dialogues in universities, co-led Dale Carnegie professional development trainings, and worked across corporate, creative, and academic sectors. This experience is now woven into the very fabric of Crownworkshop and its ability to create change, growth, and transformation.
Megan’s personal journey is central to the credibility and impact of Crownworkshop. She has walked through her own seasons of identity, resilience, and restoration, and that lived experience is woven into every workshop. This story is not just about her work, but about the mandate she carries to cultivate confidence, wholeness, and leadership in the next generation.
Her founder’s story sits at the forefront of Crownworkshop’s vision, mirroring the transformation she is helping young women step into.
Currently, Megan partners with the Los Angeles Unified School District to educate parents, teachers, and students on African grooming practices, the impact of colonialism on self perception, and the connection between personal development, crowncare, wellness, and mental health.
Passionate about the intersections of psychology, neuroscience, art, and culture, Megan continues to create spaces that spark dialogue, celebrate identity, and inspire collective growth and expression.
